We launched this laptop into space for the Origin trailer teaser starring Tom Felton. This 360 VR video gets you up close and personal with the Origin trailer as it floats high above the Earth in space.
From the producers of The Crown and Lost comes the YouTube Originals series Origin, following a group of troubled passengers as they wake up on a damaged spaceship abandoned in deep space. Each having left behind a dark past in search of a fresh start on a newly colonized planet, they’re determined to survive at all costs. But as their terrifying situation spirals into paranoia, they come to realize that the greatest threat to their dream of starting over – and indeed their lives – is something far darker than the pasts they were so desperate to escape.
We were so excited to be part of this big creative movement as made available through YouTube's premium service experience. Not only was Origin the first high-end European show to be aired on Youtube, it also featured a diverse, international cast that put on stellar, or rather interstellar, performances. The show has been a huge success with great reviews all round.
In an interview with RadioTimes.com, Tom Felton shared “Honestly, it was like a bunch of kids being let loose and being able to do whatever we liked. There was no army of suits waggling their fingers and telling us what they thought we should do. It was not just Mika, it was Mika and all of us, the writing staff, all the editors, script editors.” Refreshing stuff.
Starring Tom Felton and Natalia Tena (reuniting after Harry Potter), French actor Nora Arnezeder as Rey, Sen Mitsuji as Shun, EastEnders’ Nina Wadia, Fraser James as Henri, Timewasters’ Adelayo Adedayo, Philipp Christopher as Baum and Siobhan Cullen as Katie. Star-struck indeed.
