MISSION

Showcasing the LA Galaxy's legacy and new retro jerseys in space to celebrate their nostalgic Adidas Retrograde Third Kit

LA Galaxy reached out to us to help celebrate the launch of their retro-inspired Adidas third kit. We needed to come up with an out-of-this-world idea to showcase the new "Retrograde" jersey by launching it into space alongside its iconic 1996 Nike legacy jersey.

EXECUTION

Our creative team worked with LA Galaxy to create an engaging story that revolved around launching both new and old jerseys at the same time into space and capturing that moment using twin 360° camera systems.

The spacecraft reached altitudes of over 116,000 feet, post-launch, we retrieved the crafts and processed the stunning footage for LA Galaxy's campaign.

To match LA Galaxy's retro-grade campaign, we used off-speed frame rates, and the reframing of 360° video to perfectly match the '90s nostalgia with the new kit. This mission perfectly blended retro elements with modern aesthetics in showcasing the "Retrograde" third kit of LA Galaxy.
