Our Story

For a year following on from June 2011, developments were taking place, from electronics to measure atmospheric conditions, to payload material testing and various tracking methods. By June 2012, a successful prototype had been launched to an altitude of 33km. This craft, launched from Sheffield in a light rain landed a mere 5 miles from the predicted site near Peterborough.

After minor modifications this was quickly followed by a second and third prototype flight, each landing close to predictions and returning with bundles of data on pressure, temperature, humidity, altitude and more.
